Gaming PC Builds of the Month Introduction
I am writing this article to give you an overview of the PC Builds of the month at Newb Computer Build. Each month I compile and post three separate builds based on the following price ranges:
Gaming PC Build for less than $500
Gaming PC Build for between $500 to $1000
Gaming PC BUild for between $1000 to $1500
I believe I can provide a good range for individuals within different budgets, while still providing a good quality build. For the most part even the lower end $500 build is still capable of playing any game on the market, however it may not be able to play every game at the maximum possible resolutions or settings.
There are many reasons to want to build your own gaming PC. Such as:
I believe the number one reason (for myself) is that building your own can save you money when you compare purchasing a new pre-built PC. When building and pricing together you own gaming pc, you can purchase every piece of hardware separately. This means that you can find deals on each part, purchase the hardware from many different retailers, and allot of the time you may find that one or two of your hardware components have a rebate that come with them.
Another very important reason to build your own is that you can personalize it all you want. Sure you want to purchase the best possible processor and graphics card to pump all the juice you can into your games, but once it gets down to choosing what case you want it’s a whole new experience. Sort of like choosing the body for your new sports car. Cases can range in colour of material, lighting, fans, shape etc.
And the final, and not one to forget is the building your own pc is fun! When you build your own and go through the initial research to plan and purchase each separate component; put all of your hardware together and boot up your machine for the first time successfully then it is a great feeling!
How I choose the hardware for the gaming pc builds of the month:
When choosing my configurations, I will research and keep up to date on the most recent hardware releases, reviews and news from the previous month (since I try and post the builds first thing each month). I read every article of hardware news from Google Alerts, Toms Hardware, and also keep a look at other site builds so that I can choose the best possible hardware.
Along with every builds basic hardware components (Processor, Graphics Card, Motherboard, RAM, Hard Drive, Optical Drive, and PC Case) I will sometimes try and fit in some extra hardware components that you may want to consider if your budget allows it. For example: Upgrades to some of the a sic hardware components, extra cooling, another related substitutions.
Conclusion:
So if you are looking, or are curious about building a new gaming computer then I urge you to check out the Newb Computer Build Gaming PC Builds of the Month page for the latest monthly builds. Also, if you ever have any questions for your own build, please do no hesitate to contact me or comment.
